As a young girl due to unfortunate circumstances I lived in Sicily. Not knowing how to speak, read or write Italian I found it extremely hard, but with great help from my school teachers I successfully learnt all these attributes in order to accomplish and successfully gain the school grades that are required to take up employment in Italy. From that point I have always believed anything is achievable when you put your mind to it and due to this experience I am extremely passionate about Education and I am always constantly looking at improving myself, even at the age of 33 I achieved an A levels in English Literature.
Working for Sir Richard Branson I was given a great opportunity of working abroad in Nigeria, and I am true believer that travel can educate us all in ways we never thought possible.
I thrive on solving problems mentoring younger staff in my line of business and I pride myself on the ability that I hold to quickly engage in order to build a great team rapport and client confidence.
14 years ago as I junior member of staff at Virgin Atlantic I achieved the highest sales target in the company’s history by making £3.9 million in 12 months and to this date no one has exceeded this. My knowledge base and management style have been tested in large and small teams.
By my nature, I am honest, adaptable, dependable and diligent, and I am extremely honoured to be serving as a School Governor.
