EdTech Demonstrator School

As an EdTech Demonstrator School, Cheam Common Junior Academy is now supporting the delivery of the Department for Education’s new national programme, providing peer-led advice and training to help schools and colleges use technology to support remote teaching and improve their digital capability.

Testimonial

Having worked in partnership with Cheam Common Junior Academy and the LEO Academy Trust for a number of years, the development of their digital culture has been impressive and we have benefitted greatly as a school.

High quality support and interaction has allowed us to quickly develop a coherent digital strategy for both school and home, that meets both our short term and long term goals.

The training opportunities, at both a technical and pedagogical level, have led to high levels of engagement amongst staff and provided them with the confidence to broaden their knowledge and skills base.

Cheam Common Junior’s recognition by the Department for Education as an EdTech Demonstrator School, is well deserved.
